Ranchi : The Tata Group is set to undertake new investments in Jharkhand, with a strong focus on advanced and technology-driven initiatives. Shri N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Group, shared this information during a press conference held today at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren.
Addressing the media, the Chief Minister said that the Tata Group shares a long and historic association with Jharkhand, having started its journey from this State. Over the years, the Group has earned a distinguished global identity and continues to play an important role in the development of Jharkhand as well as the country. He expressed confidence that this partnership will continue to strengthen in the future.

Shri N. Chandrasekaran lauded the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister and stated that an investment-friendly environment is steadily taking shape in Jharkhand. He said that the State Government’s roadmap for industrial growth is encouraging for investors and that discussions held with the Chief Minister would lead to positive and concrete outcomes.

He further informed that significant investments are planned in new technologies across Tata Group’s industrial establishments in the State to enhance efficiency and sustainability. In line with the Chief Minister’s vision, initiatives will also be taken towards building knowledge-based economies in Jharkhand through coordinated efforts between state government and tata officials.

The Tata Group also plans to expand the scope of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in the State, with increased allocation to ensure wider benefits to communities. Additionally, the Group will work in partnership with the State Government to strengthen skill development initiatives and equip the youth with industry-relevant capabilities.
